Reimu Hakurei was scorching with fury like a raging, flamy inferno. A feeling of exasperation with a tinge of concern stirred into it swallowed her mind whole.
Days, weeks, months, years.
They all fleeted past like a seer.

Exterminating youkai, meals, sleeping, useless training, done. All days felt like just hours. (Probably because she's been lazing around all the time. Well, I do too.) Time did indeed fly like an arrow, but nonetheless, it was still nine years.

Your curiousity was one easily piqued, after all. Your eyes were a fine pair that usually glistened with wonder, and they wouldn't hesitate to pry their way into the content of any piece of text and decipher it with meticulous care, dissecting word by word of whatever message was there to read. You loved to immerse yourself in the kingdom of word.

Reimu Hakurei.
I admired her.
Elegant, powerful, kind, the very definition of an amazing best friend. Prcatically impeccable.
Fending off youkai with not a single speck of fear in her eyes, while she held beaming triumph over them as she trampled them down with her excellent skill, and her hair swaying elegantly in the wind as if dancing with victory.
Tilting her head as she plastered a smile on her face, twitching up the corners of her lips to curl, as the yin-yang orbs surrounding her blared saturated colours that flaunted her authority, her power.

It was a chilly midnight. A blood-red moon reigned supreme and high into the hazy night sky in triumph, clouded by a dense blanket of foggy, scarlet mist.
The mansion's perfect and elegant head maid, Sakuya Izayoi, eyed her two opponents sharply.
She was currently duelling against Reimu Hakurei, the Hakurei shrine maiden of paradise, and her best friend, Marisa Kirisame, an ordinary yet powerful human magician.

The full moon illuminated dimly in the night sky, and nothing seemed to be stirring up to disturb the tranquillity of the surroundings.
The magician and the shrine maiden were at the deck of the shrine, as they guzzled down their umpteen bottles of sake, leant against each other, faces painted scarlet, and tinged with warmth. A warm and fuzzy feeling tingled their senses all over, much more cozier than a kotatsu. The reek of sake wafted across the air, and it was ambiently silent.

Once upon a time, in a land of danger and magic,
a trio of three was trapped there, their tale so very tragic.
The first was a girl draped in rose red,
its deep tint growing as she bled,
the second was a man, whose smile was full of wonder,
like the mysterious bloom he bore which made him ponder,
what dangers lurk ahead,
from groping sharp claws to a guillotine's behead.
The third was indeed an interesting one,
her enthusiasm to be with the first was truly second to none,
however, she plotted the second one's murder,
for she wanted to escape with the other,
she truly didn't want to kill, that much was precise,
